At Bound By Elegance Shibari, we value fairness and clarity in all transactions. This refund policy ensures transparency for our clients while protecting the integrity of discounted rates and promotions.

1. Services & Classes
Cancellations:
Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or for no-shows.
Group classes, workshops, or events may have unique cancellation terms, detailed in their descriptions.
Extended Programs:
If a client withdraws from an extended program (e.g., 5-class package) after attending one or more sessions, the remaining sessions will be canceled, and the attended sessions will be charged at the full hourly rate, with no discounts or promotional pricing applied.
Example: A 5-class package costs $400 ($80 per class). If you attend 3 classes and cancel, you will be charged the standard hourly rate of $100 per class, totaling $300 for the attended sessions. The remaining $100 will be refunded.
Rescheduling:
Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Excessive rescheduling may result in cancellation with no refunds.
Late Arrivals:
Refunds will not be provided for time lost due to late arrivals in private or group sessions.
Illness or Emergencies:
Clients exhibiting illness symptoms will be asked to leave. Refunds for illness or emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the instructor's discretion.

2. Mental Health & Relationship Programs
Due to the structured nature of these programs, refund eligibility will follow prorated terms: attended sessions will be charged at the full hourly rate, and discounts will not apply to refunded balances.
Specific refund terms may be detailed in the program agreements.

3. Products
Refunds are only offered for defective products. All sales of Shoshinsha Bamboo Shibari Ropes and other materials are final once used, due to safety and hygiene considerations.
Defective products may be exchanged or refunded within 14 days of purchase, provided they are unused and in their original condition.

4. Discounts & Promotions
Discounts, gift cards, and promotional offers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Refunds for canceled programs will not include discounts or promotions. Refunds will be calculated based on the full hourly rate for attended sessions.

5. Custom Services
Deposits for custom rope art, decorative pieces, or wearable designs are non-refundable once work has begun. Specific refund terms will be outlined in individual service agreements.
